Nebraska Arts Council has reopened applications to fill the Deputy Director position.
As chief financial officer for the agency, the Deputy Director develops, maintains, and reports all budgeting and financial accounting of the agency to the executive director, the board, and the proper governmental agencies.
As chief operating officer for the agency, the Deputy Director supervises the administrative staff and functions of the agency, including payroll, human resources, and compliance issues.
Other duties include overseeing grant documents and contracts used to manage funds, and monitoring payments to grant recipients to ensure the proper allocation/distribution of funds.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or nonprofit management plus three years’ experience in arts administration and management. Related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000
