She offers a number of different thematic residencies:
The Bully Project for Grades 3-8
This residency carries a message of hope, as students dramatize scripts that explore different types of bullying, along with ways they might actively respond. Residency activities include a final performance with set, costumes, and props provided by Linda. She also provides support materials for teachers to use following the residency.
One Acts for Grades 3-8
Residency sponsors may choose between two different one-act plays, The Reluctant Dragon or Twelve Dancing Princesses. These residencies may accommodate up to 50 students, and are suitable for after-school or summer programs. These plays include costumes, props, sets, music and dance rehearsed for a final performance.
Shakespeare’s Life and Times – Grades 9-12
This residency introduces high school students to the life and times of Shakespeare. During the week students learn about Shakespeare’s language and poetry. They write original sonnets, learn a Renaissance dance, play medieval games, make models or houses using straw and mud, and create masks to wear to the Romeo and Juliet Ball.
Creative Dramatics – Grades Pre-K -12
Students use creative dramatics games and exercises, improvisation, and role playing. This residency provides opportunities for students to explore imagination, creativity, problem solving, and team work.
