Impact Nebraska Artists
Impact offers five major exhibition packages, each with art created around a focus theme by 25 juried artists in a variety of visual media. The themes evolve from Nebraska or regional sources, with national appeal and are periodically replaced with a newly commissioned show. Exhibits are available to large and small venues. Impact’s shows generate widespread interest and provide a high-quality educational experience.
Some members are prepared to offer artmaking workshops that can be formatted for various ages, settings, and timeframes. Some members can be available for short discussions of their inspiration in an opening reception. A member can be available for one pre-arranged time with docent-type information about a show.
Tech Requirements: Exhibitions require wall space for up to 25 paintings. Size of art pieces is limited for ease of transportation to fit into a crate with a total of 62” (height + width). Most exhibitions currently have 1-3 pieces of three-dimensional work which require tables or pedestals. Good track lighting is preferred, and adequate security is essential.
