Holly Pelesky
Holly is a storyteller who creates narratives keeping in mind her particular audience. Sometimes stories are told to entertain, to inform, to give hope. Knowing your intention and how to best deliver it to this particular audience is so much of the fun. She leads engaging, thought-provoking workshops that are often generative and/or collaborative in nature. She is passionate about helping others who want to share stories do that exact thing and helps them find their platform.
She writes essays, fiction and poetry. She received her MFA from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Her prose can be found in CutBank, The Normal School, and Roanoke Review, among other places. She has published a chapbook of poetry, Quiver, and a collection of letters to her daughter, Cleave. She is also a librarian with the Omaha Public Library.
