Christy has a broad studio background and teaching experience in 2D, 3D and mixed media and she is always open for the opportunity to create a residency that is completely new and well suited for the needs of the participants. Christy can adapt any of her workshops to the grade level and developmental stages of your students and to the length of the residency the host organization desires. She will provide digital copies of worksheets, resources, curriculum materials and a materials list so that the host teacher/organization can use them in the future.
Creative Aging Arts Program (CAAP)
With a diverse studio background and teaching experience in 2D, 3D and mixed media, Christy is open to creating a residency tailored to the needs of the participants. Drawing from her 33 years as a public-school art teacher and 10 years as a full time art professor at UNK, she can adapt workshops to suit the developmental stages of students kindergarten through adult. Christy is flexible in planning residencies of any desired length and can provide a materials list, digital copies of worksheets, resources, and curriculum materials for future use
