Cabaret Theatre
Omaha’s Cabaret Theatre has been delighting audiences since 1991. With stunning vocal jazz harmonies and sublime solo voices, members of the group have garnered an array of individual and ensemble awards for their artistry at area theaters and local events. Nominated as Best Cabaret, they have been recognized for their sophisticated arrangements of soulful ballads and uptempo dazzlers. Whether it’s the Great American Songbook, Broadway gems, or contemporary pop and cabaret, Cabaret Theatre’s versatility is matched only by their unique ability to connect with their audience.
Their understanding of music, its magic and stories, is evidenced by performances at more than 50 arts councils throughout Nebraska and the region, nationally and internationally. Their amazing blend and sensitivity to detail shines in every genre, from Cole Porter to Burt Bachrach, Gershwin to Billy Joel, Michael Bublé to Manhattan Transfer. Current shows include Songbirds, celebrating female stars of the 60s and 70s, and It Don’t Mean A Thing, featuring the Great American Songbook. Music of the Andrews Sisters and a holiday show are also available, and we’re always adding to our repertoire!
“Cabaret Theatre was absolutely delightful. Rebecca Noble was easy to work with and did an excellent job helping our arts council understand and meet their needs. Their entire group was very adaptable and pleasant. They have great talent, wonderful style and performing showmanship. We have made it a practice to ask our audiences for suggestions on future programming ideas and have had some requests for a repeat performance.” – Valentine Area Arts Council
