Jennifer Dreibelbis

Grants and Database Administrator

Jennifer Dreibelbis is the Grants and Database Administrator at Nebraska Arts Council. She is responsible for managing the grants and grant records. She works with program staff and administration to ensure timely payments, final reports and other grant requirements. She works with grantees, federal and state partners as necessary to ensure compliance.

She came to Nebraska Arts Council from Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services where she managed the Community Services Block Grant. She has more than 20 years of experience working in public and nonprofit agencies. She focuses on ensuring compliance with internal controls, agency policies, state and federal laws. Her goals are high performing and competitive nonprofit agencies in a growing market. She has a BA in Journalism and Political Science from Iowa State University and a MPA focusing on Nonprofit Management from University of Nebraska-Omaha.

She did not inherit her late mother’s artistic talent, but Jennifer has an appreciation for art as well as the talent that exists in Nebraska. Many of her friends are musicians, photographers and graphic artists whom Jennifer helps with promotional activities as needed. Her parents instilled in her an appreciation for public art–including visiting all the Nebraska rest stop sculptures celebrating the bicentennial in the 1970s.
